“Café de Aves” (2023) es un cortometraje animado con imágenes de acción en vivo del Rio de Los Angeles. La historia, que sigue a un grupo de amigos emplumados que frecuentan un café ficticio ubicado en el lugar del proyecto, explora temas de migración, biodiversidad y comunidad. La película está ambientada en un futuro próximo, después de la finalización del proyecto, y celebra el nuevo entorno natural y floreciente gracias a los esfuerzos de limpieza del agua y mejora del hábitat del proyecto.
“Bird Cafe” (2023) is a short animated film with live-action footage of the LA River. Following a group of feathered friends who frequent a fictional cafe located at the project site, the story explores themes of migration, biodiversity, and community. The film is set in the near future, after the completion of the project, and celebrates the newly flourishing natural environment thanks to the water-cleaning and habitat enhancement efforts of the project.
